Category Properties is where you set the Category purge rules.
There are three purge options which are processed when ClipMagic exits:
Never Purge - items from this category are never deleted.
Delete items older than nn days - deletes items (moves them to Trash) if they are older than the specified number of days.
Keep the latest nn clips - keeps the latest specified number of clips and moves the rest to Trash.
